I work with state employees across the agency to ensure all design and print needs are met. A typical day could include jobs such as designing printed materials (flyers, brochures, forms, etc.), creating digital assets (logos, graphics, fillable forms, etc.), placing print orders, managing envelope inventory, or even making posters for the Governor! Printed Materials Below are a few examples of the kinds of printed materials that are frequently requested. Informational posters and brochures are common because DHHS offers many services. Some jobs such as Benefits Update Flyers are time-sensitive and require a quick turnaround. They need to be legible and accessible to any user. The biggest challenge of this project was designing with scale in mind. It’s a versatile piece that combines photography, engineering, and graphic design. I designed and 3D-printed a functional pinhole camera, then designed branding to form its identity and an exhibition to showcase the photography. The Hex camera makes use of 3D-printed slides to add graphics or typography to the pictures as you take them. was to choose a personal object and create an exhibition to tell a story about the object. The object I chose was a “No. 2 Folding Autographic Brownie” camera. This camera comes from my grandfather’s collection. It was one of his first cameras, and it belonged to his grandmother before him. The geometric design of my exhibition drew inspiration from the camera itself, and the collages used my grandfather’s photography. The World You Promised Us signifies the romanticized ideals of the "American dream". The tears in the facade of natural conservation reveal the truth of this deceitful promise.&nbsp;The World You Left Us&nbsp;represents a surreal future in which human pollution has created a desolate wasteland. The addition of wind turbines in this destructive landscape gives the illusion of sustainability, and is a solution that simultaneously distracts from the real problem.
