The aim of this project was to choose a personal object and create an exhibition to tell a story about the object. The object I chose was a “No. 2 Folding Autographic Brownie” camera. This camera comes from my grandfather’s collection. It was one of his first cameras, and it belonged to his grandmother before him. The geometric design of my exhibition drew inspiration from the camera itself, and the collages used my grandfather’s photography. This was my first time designing an entire exhibition, and it was a valuable study in narrative expression.
