This project was a McDonald’s Happy Meal redesign. My theme was LEGO space exploration. Because this design was intended for children, it focused on interactivity and creating an experience beyond finishing a meal. The box includes pieces that could be assembled and attached to the outside, transforming it into a rocket. Also included in the box are instructions, planet stickers, and of course the Happy Meal itself; customized with space themed wrappers and a space shuttle fry box! The porthole on the front of the box is a token that could be submitted at the restaurant for a chance to win a limited edition prize.
